Dag is dressed for rain, but it's sunny

That is on purpose. Dag dresses for the next twelve hours, not for the minute you opened the app. The line under the temperature says when the rain starts.

It says it can't work out where I am

The app needs location permission while you use it. On iOS it is under Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services; on Android under Settings → Apps → wea-the-r → Permissions. Indoors it can take a few seconds to get a fix.

The morning notification didn't arrive

It is scheduled for 7 AM by your device. Check that notifications are allowed for the app, and that the switch inside the app is on — tap Dag to find it.

The widget is stuck on an old hour

The widget is given the whole day in advance and moves through it on its own, but the system decides when to redraw. Opening the app refreshes it immediately.

Is the forecast any good?

It comes from MET Norway, the Norwegian Meteorological Institute — the same data behind yr.no. We do not adjust it.
